Featuring the high core count, high memory capacity, and built-in AI acceleration, the processor upgrade on Lanner network appliances will accelerate next-gen 5G and edge computing applications, such cyber security, video transport, MEC content delivery and hyper-converged infrastructure.

The enhanced 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor provides 8~28 cores per processor, integrated Intel QuickAssist Technology, Intel Deep Learning Boost, Intel Optane persistent memory support and Intel Advanced Vector Extensions 512. The latest processor will enable Lanner network appliances with up to maximum 56 logical cores for extreme performance in virtualized and hyper-converged network applications, such as MEC, NFVI, vADC, vBNG and vCGNAT.
