Lanner Electronics Inc Extends Carrier-Grade NFV Ecosystem Partnership by Joining Forces with NEC and Netcracker

Barcelona, Spain — February 27th, 2017 — Today at the Mobile World Congress 2017, Lanner Electronics Inc., a global specialist in software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) platforms, is expanding the solution ecosystem by close collaboration with NEC and Netcracker.

The demo showcase at MWC 2017 provides an example how NEC/Netcracker’s Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solution can rapidly create, deploy and monetize virtualized B2B services. Lanner’s vCPE Gateway will be used as the foundation for SD-WAN at the customer premises, on top of which different value-added network services can be added through a self-service portal.

The foundation as an ecosystem for VNF deployments

The collaboration in the ecosystem is a foundation to make the deployments for VNFs successful. Many communication service providers are in the process to transform the network, and the validated solution of Netcracker and Lanner provides the assurance of interoperability in a multivendor environment.
