New Taipei City, Taiwan — Dec., 14, 2021 — Lanner Electronics Inc., a global leader in manufacturing and supplying network appliances and rugged applied computing platforms, has unveiled an advanced, rugged, fan-less in-vehicle gateway — ISD-V330, with rich I/O functionality and multi-WAN connectivity. ISD-V330 is low power and delivers high performance for vehicle computing needs, making it suitable for vehicle controls, fleet monitoring and management, and vehicle infotainment and dispatching systems.
ISD-V330 leverages the new generation 10 nm process SoC (System-on-Chip) Intel Atom® x6000E processor (codenamed Elkhart Lake), delivering next-generation CPU and graphics performance with integrated support for real-time and industrial-centric I/O in vehicle computing. The system supports Intel® Programmable Services Engine (Intel® PSE), a dedicated offload engine for IoT functions powered by an ARM Cortex-M7 microcontroller. To achieve multi-modem aggregate wireless network connectivity, ISD-V330 provides 3 PGN removable caddy supporting LTE/5G cellular communications with dual SIM slots (up to 8x SIM slots) and onboard M.2 slot for Wi-Fi.
ISD-V330 offers expandable functionality with wider power input range 9~54Vdc for electric vehicles (EV) and semi-autonomous vehicles, in addition to an abundance of I/O peripheral connectivity including 2 serial COM ports, 2 video output by HDMI, 3 RJ45 LAN ports, USB and Digital I/O ports., to meet the demands of various in-vehicle and mass transportation applications. The compact system also provides a built-in CAN bus port for driving diagnostic and behavior analysis.
Designed to survive rigorous environmental conditions for on and off-road vehicle use, ISD-V330 complies with stringent E13/MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration resistance standard.
