Lanner Adds NCA-1210 into its Expanding Compact Network Appliance Lineup

A world-class design and manufacturer of network appliances, Lanner Electronics Inc. has launched the NCA-1210 supplying the widely spread adoption of virtual CPE and edge security gateways with a compact x86 desktop network appliance based on Intel Atom C2358/C2558 CPU (codenamed “Rangeley”), Intel QuickAssist technology, four RJ-45 GbE LANs and four antenna holes.

The NCA-1210s value combination in computing processor and compact form factor design offers high memory efficiency and supports DDR3 1333 or 1600 MHz up to 16GB. The compact desktop, empowered by Intel Atom C2358/C2558 CPU, proves itself as a cost-effective network gateway for SMB’s, retail and branch office environments as well as other edge security applications. Delivering the ideal balance in processor power and performance it is programmed with Intel QuickAssist Technology for accelerated cryptographic engine.

In regards to its I/O interface, NCA-1210 provides one RJ-45 console port, four RJ-45 GbE LAN ports programmed with one pair of LAN bypass, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, four SMA antenna holes and integrated Marvell 88E1543 Quad PHY for improved networking capability. Furthermore, NCA-1210 supports dual mini-PCIe slots for wireless connectivity and one smart fan control for system cooling.
