At SDN & Open Flow World Congress 2016, Lanner will present its NFVi-ready, NEBS-certified modular HTCA-6200 network appliance, compliant with NTT Lagopus, with high networking performance and flexible functionality in the SDN environment. HTCA-6200 features dual CPU blades, dual swappable network I/O baldes, high-speed switching capability and full redundant design. Each of the dual CPU blades of HTCA-6200 is designed with dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2690 v3/v4 CPUs (24 cores per blade, a total of 48 cores across 2 blades) and 16x DDR4 R-DIMMs. The dual network I/O blades can be compatible with switch or Ethernet blades in either 32 x 10GbE or 4xGbE+16 x 10GbE network ports in an array of QSFP, SFP+ or copper combinations.
Also a NFVi-ready platform, Lanner will introduce its FW-8896, a powerful network appliance certified with Wind River Titanium Server.
