Lanner to Present Latest Security Gateways for Virtual and Physical Networks at RSA 2018

Lanner is working with Intel® to present next-generation universal vCPE platform NCA-2510, featuring new virtualization-ready Intel® Atom™ C3000 series CPU with Intel DPDK enabled to deliver significant performance enhancement in running security VNF in SD-WAN networks. The joint demonstration will showcase the benchmark about how vCPE + DPDK can boost high speed packet processing efficiency in network security VNFs like DPI and VPN IP-sec applications.

In response to the fast-evolving cyber threats, enterprises demand advanced threat protections, application delivery firewall, and IPS/IDS in their network. To meet the demand for advanced security, Lanner will introduce high-performance 2U network security gateway NCA-6210, featuring next-gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor platform with up to 77% enhancement in networking processing efficiency, 4.2x higher throughput for virtualization applications, and 1.5x memory bandwidth boost. Built with dual Intel® Xeon®-grade CPU blades, dual network I/O blades with high-speed switching capacity and full-redundancy system design, HTCA-6200 will further reinforce carrier-grade DDoS protection with 24/7/365 up-time and strict reliabilities.
