LEC-7230-CT1: Expanding The LEC-7230 Series IPC Lineup

Lanner Electronics Inc. has announced the arrival of the LEC-7230-CT1, a SFF and fanless design Embedded Box PC based on Intel® Celeron® J1900 (codenamed Bay Trail) processor, known for substantially improving its performance and power-efficiency.

Benchmark testing conducted for computing performance and power efficiency found that the Intel® Celeron® J1900 outperforms its predecessor (Intel® Atom™ N2800) by 310% while maintaining the same level of power usage.

Besides the J1900 quad-core’s powerful and nimble processor, the SFF and fanless LEC-7230-CT1 supports up to 8GB of low-powered DDR3L memory and providing an opulent I/O interface including Intel® Integrated Graphics, HDMI (1920 x 1080), VGA (1600 x 1200), dual 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, dual RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 5x USB 2.0 port, 1x USB 3.0 port and a full-sized mini-PCIe slot with SIM card reader.

With its 0°C~55°C wide operating temperature range, the LEC-7230-CT1 is positioned as an ideal solution for deployment in an extensive range of scenarios such as production line automation, surveillance NVR, home gateway, digital signage, and retail POS.
