Lanner’s newly introduced NCA-1010 comes in a highly compact form factor, with a size of just two smartphones at dimensions of only 124.26 x 19.4 x 119.66 mm. The small form factor allows it to be deployed in any small area network environment.
Regarding performance and functionality, NCA-1010 is Lanner’s revolutionary ultra compact x86 networking system built with Intel® Atom™ E3815/E3825 SoC (formerly Bay Trail). The SoC comes with hardware assisted security mechanisms including AES-NI, which adopts crypto algorithm to allow only authorized software or data to run on NCA-1010. With built-in instruction commands, NCA-1010 can function as a compact entry-level firewall for devices connected to local Wi-Fi network, and also serves as a multi-service gateway.
Despite its compact size, NCA-1010 delivers rich I/O connectivity and scalability. For connections with networking devices, this compact desktop provides three RJ-45 Ethernet LAN ports and a mini-PCIe expansion socket for Wi-Fi module installation. To establish connections with peripheral devices, NCA-1010 offers one USB2.0 port, one USB3.0 port and a HDMI port for Full HD digital signage display. Together with compact size, rich I/O, as well as powerful Intel processor with enhanced security features, NCA-1010 is an ideally deployable solution to manage the network flow of IoT applications and it is a conveniently time-to-market platform.
