Lanner Reduces Operation at Toronto HQ due to Coronavirus

The rapidly evolving COVID-19 is affecting the operations of many businesses, including Lanner and its North American subsidiary, LEI Technology. As we work through this health emergency and commercial uncertainty, we would like you to know that the health & safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and partners is our top priority.

In order to reduce the risk of transmitting this virus and to continue and support our customers in this situation, we are running a reduced operation with essential employees at our Toronto site. Our management team meets daily to assess the situation and mitigate risk. Our Technical support, customer service and account managers are providing same level of support to our customers as normal using remote technologies. Our supply base in Asia is slowly increasing output, and improvement to existing commitments are expected. The logistics between Asia, Europe, North and South America is experiencing delays, as the COVID-19 awareness has strained businesses outside of Asia, and transportation lines.

We are committed to managing our production and delivery timelines in a proactive and comprehensive manner to meet the ongoing needs of our customers while ensuring we strictly follow evolving guidelines from local authorities to support our combined efforts in managing the pandemic and the disruption caused by it.
