Lanner, Intel and ELKO Addresses 5G Network Transformation and Security in ELKO Telecom Forum 2018

ELKO, a leading distributor of IT products and household appliances, organized the first ELKO Telecom & Infosecurity Forum 2018. The event brought together leaders of the information security industry, telecommunication companies, and leading manufacturers including Intel, Crucial/Micron and Lanner, as well as partners and system integrators. Major technological trends addressed in the forum covered cybersecurity, SDN/NFV and 5G.

Vasily Lizunov, Intel’s Sales Development Manager, spoke about the mostly discussed trends in the markets: both existing and developing ones, during his speech. He addressed that the next-generation network not only has to reduce traffic latencies, but also become smarter and more flexible. In addition, he stressed that the top priority for Intel today is “partnership for transformation”.
