Lanner Collaborates with Wind River to Offer IoT-ready Security Gateways for Faster Time-to-Market Deployment

Taipei, Taiwan — March 14, 2017 — Lanner Electronics (TAIEX 6245), a global leader in ODM/OEM manufacturing services for embedded computing, announced its collaboration with Wind River, to offer optimized IoT-ready security gateways pre-validated and pre-loaded with Wind River® Pulsar™ Linux, helping service providers accelerate time-to-market for their IoT deployments. This collaboration brings purpose-built hardware and powerful software together, with Lanner providing customized and optimized hardware solutions and Wind River® Pulsar™ Linux delivering ongoing security patches and critical Linux updates offering a development shortcut for value-added applications.

Wind River Pulsar Linux is designed and built from the Yocto Project , of which Wind River is a key founding member, maintainers and contributor.
