Lanner Introduces New SDN & NFV Solutions for Telecom Networks at MWC 2016

Today, many telecom companies are seeking more flexible and scalable network connectivity solutions to meet the growing demand of telecommunication services. In fact, these service providers turn their attentions to virtualized network functions to reduce their physical hardware deployment while meeting the serviceability and flexibility. This year at MWC 2016, Lanner will introduce innovative hardware solutions for Carrier Ethernet, SDN, NFV, vCPE, vRAN and video transcoding. These new generation telecom appliances features carrier-grade architectures, Intel x86 performance, high-throughput, high-availability and scalable modular designs. Come visit Lanner at Hall 7 Booth # 7E06, from Feb 22 to 25 at Barcelona, Spain.

Next Generation Carrier Ethernet Solution

The next-generation carrier-grade network security lies in a cutting edge telecom platform that integrates service control, network management and data processing in a single system. Lanner introduces the all-new 6U rackmount appliance HTCA 6000, which integrates the best in class x86 computing power and switching capabilities in a single appliance, while maintaining efficiency and flexibility in service control and network management, making it perfect for meeting the increased demand in high computing applications within the carrier networks.

SDN, NFV and vCPE Solutions

At MWC 2016, Lanner will showcase its latest platform for NFV/SDN networks, including 2U rackmount appliance FW-8896 with NVMe module as core server, 1U x86+switch rackmount HTCA-1000/2000 as edge router. Lanner will also demonstrate vCPE solutions by featuring new generation network appliances, including ultra-compact NCA-1020 (Intel Braswell) as well as 1U rackmount NCA-4010 (Broadwell-DE).

Video Transcoding Modular with 4K H.265 Compression

For high-volume on-demand video transport via IP network, Lanner will present the new NCS2-VT02A, an add-on NIC module with the latest IntelĀ® Skylake-H CPU for unfettered performance and 4K H.265 compression capability.
