Summary
The Pre-Sales Executive will primarily focus on understanding customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and providing technical expertise to the sales team during the early stages of the sales cycle, including conducting product demonstrations, addressing technical concerns, and crafting proposals to qualify leads and facilitate sales conversions, essentially acting as a bridge between technical knowledge and sales strategy to increase sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize customer relationship development by identifying customer needs and addressing concerns before a sales deal is closed.
Understand competitor offerings and position the company's solution effectively.
Lead or coordinate new business development and market projections with Business Development, Product Management, and Operations Departments to work out sales strategies.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of activities such as sales calls, presentations, and follow-ups in the company's CRM.
Create and conduct effective presentations (company profile, product roadmap, and value proposition) and proposals to inspire prospective customers to partner with Lanner.
Learn and stay current with an in-depth understanding of Lanner's product or service being sold, including features, functionalities, and technical specifications to answer customer inquiries effectively.
Stay updated on industry trends and customers’ needs to identify potential sales opportunities, understand competitor offerings, and position the company's solution effectively.
Work independently and support the sales team by providing technical insights, product demonstrations, and tailoring solutions to potential customers.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Deep presentation and public speaking acumen
Demonstrated ability to think creatively, work independently and accomplish goals.
Knowledge of Cyber Security and Networking infrastructure is a plus.
Comfort using SAP and CRM (Sales Force, Zoho, etc.) systems.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field of network computing or in a related area
Require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Must be able to travel short and long distances for customer visits
Compensations
SO4/S05 - $100,000 – $120,000, plus bonus – depending on experience, education, and certifications
